Take your bashing to new extremes of power, capability, and toughness with the ARRMA TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 ready-to-run buggy. It’s more than an affordable way to enter into amped-up 1/8 scale off-road action. With the TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4, you can experience bigger, better bashing now - then upgrade later to brushless power and reach even greater performance peaks.
With a low center of gravity, high-downforce wing, wide arms, and multi-surface wheels and tires, the TYPHON MEGA has proven to be the ideal platform for easing your way into aggressive 1/8 scale bashing. Super-durable and easy to handle, it lets you tackle a larger size and faster speeds with complete confidence.
Now the TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 takes the popular buggy’s impressive performance to the next level. Its high-speed MEGA 665 brushed motor is 11% larger than the 550-size motor of its predecessor, with an aluminum heatsink and 35mm cooling fan to boost efficiency and power. If you’re eventually aiming to go brushless, the included transmission is already 3S brushless-ready. It’s also protected against damage from excessive torque by a new, maintenance-free overload coupling.
Large chassis side guards lock out dirt. An all-terrain suspension and oil-filled, coilover shocks soak up bumps. You can adjust the ride height over uneven surfaces to add more ground clearance. Whatever the conditions, the multi-surface dBoots 2-HO tires provide awesome traction.
The TYPHON body comes factory-finished in several fresh color schemes, and now uses a clipless body retention system to preserve its lean, smooth looks. Rounding out this ready-to-run package are high-quality Spektrum electronics, including an SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter, LiPo-ready SLT 2-in-1 40A ESC/Receiver, and S661 digital metal-gear servo for precise, powerful steering.

BRUSHLESS-READY TRANSMISSION
With a 3S brushless-ready transmission included as standard, the ARRMA TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 comes equipped for an easy brushless power system upgrade for greater efficiency and even higher speeds.
OVERLOAD COUPLER
An overload coupling (torque limiter) is included instead of a slipper clutch, to reduce maintenance and protect the transmission from excessive torque.
RUGGED VENTILATED CHASSIS
The durable chassis is ventilated to keep on-board components cool. Large side guards offer more protection from dirt. Stealth monochrome electronics are included for good looks, and the battery straps adjust to accept your choice of 2S LiPo hardcase battery.
RACING BUGGY BODY
The TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 racing buggy body is securely held in place by a hidden clipless body retention system. The body comes in a choice of bold, factory-finished color schemes and includes a high downforce wing.
SPEKTRUM ELECTRONICS
High-quality, waterproof Spektrum electronics are installed for worry-free bashing in any conditions. The SLT 2-in-1 40A ESC/Receiver is LiPo-ready. For precise steering, ARRMA includes a powerful S661 metal-gear digital servo that produces 125 oz-in torque at 6V.
SPEKTRUM SLT2 2.4GHz TRANSMITTER
The included Spektrum SLT2 transmitter is perfectly balanced for fatigue-free bashing and has a foam wheel for precise fingertip control. Less experienced bashers can set the throttle limits at 50% or 75% until ready to use the buggy’s full speed potential.
MEGA 665 MOTOR
Faster, more powerful, and 11% larger than the 550-size motor of its predecessor, the TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 buggy’s 14-turn MEGA 665 High Speed Brushed Motor includes an aluminum motor heatsink and 35mm motor cooling fan to boost efficiency and performance.
ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION
The TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 racing buggy’s all-terrain independent suspension and oil-filled, coilover shocks soak up bumps. If your bashing takes you over uneven surfaces, you can adjust the ride height to increase ground clearance.
dBOOTS 2-HO VENTED TIRES
The multi-surface dBoots 2-HO tread pattern tires provide awesome traction in all conditions. Vent holes allow air to move in and out of the tire to improve traction and let water and dirt escape. The tires are mounted on tough nylon multi-spoke pattern wheels with foam inserts to improve grip and handling.
