MODSTER Bat Safe - First real protection for your LiPo batteries!
Everyone knows about the dangers of LiPo batteries, and some people have even had a battery burst into flames.
The Bat Safe is designed so that the batteries can be safely charged and stored inside.
The charging cables are routed to the outside through a flameproof opening.
In the event of a fire, the resulting pressure can escape to the outside. This is done through the upper ventilation holes, and at the same time the smoke is filtered so that no harmful substances get outside.
Up to 800° can occur inside the box during a fire. However, due to the special insulation of the box, the floor and side wall become hot up to a maximum of 80°. The escaping gas reaches a maximum temperature of 150°.
When charging the batteries in the box, the maximum charge size of 60Ah or 60,000mAh for a single cell should not be exceeded as a reference.
Example: 2x 6S with 5000mAh are possible without problems. To charge/store larger batteries, we recommend the Bat Safe XL!
