Cut through choppy water and go full throttle with the Pro Boat® Sonicwake 36” V3 Self-Righting Deep-V. Designed for new and experienced boaters seeking maximum performance, it delivers blistering speeds of 60+ MPH, powered by its new 8S system. A worry-free self-righting feature flips the boat upright in seconds, so you stay ready to crash through the waves. The water-cooled 4-pole 1350Kv brushless motor and robust 160A ESC invite you to push the limits, while the high-torque, waterproof steering servo ensures you remain in control.
The Sonicwake 36” V3 brings a host of new improvements that add up to a significantly better boat. Notably, it features improved dual water cooling, adjustable trim tabs with two additional tabs for enhanced tuning capabilities, and a longer rudder for better cornering performance. In addition, the innovative SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) battery installation system lets you mount your batteries in a tray outside the boat rather than working in a confined space, then slide the tray into the hull where it locks into place. As a result, battery installation takes only seconds.
Durability meets convenience with a replaceable bow design. Most impacts and damage to boats occur at the bow, and now it can be replaced with just four screws, making repairs more manageable for your schedule and budget. The new breakaway rudder still pivots like a traditional breakaway but no longer requires a hardware change. Simply re-clamp it down and you’re ready to go. Additional convenience features include a magnetic grease catch for easier servicing and cleaning, plus a new rubber canopy seal that provides a better seal to keep water out of the boat.

Serious Speed with 8S Power
The Sonicwake 36” V3 Self-Righting Deep-V features a high-performance 74x40mm 4-pole Spektrum™ 1350Kv water-cooled brushless motor paired with a powerful 160A ESC, capable of propelling the boat to speeds in excess of 60+ MPH on 8S power.
Waterproof Electronics
The Sonicwake V3 uses the Smart-ready Spektrum 160A Brushless Marine ESC, which can handle more current than required for authoritative and fast operation. Paired with the optimized Spektrum 1350Kv brushless motor, this combination delivers exceptional acceleration and top-end speed.
Self-Righting Hull Design
Designed to be as stable as possible with a self-righting feature in case it ever flips. The self-righting feature does not require power to work. Give it a few seconds, and the flood chamber will fill with water, righting the boat. Hit the throttle, and the water exits the flood chamber as the boat moves forward.
Upgraded Hardware
With stronger turn fins, dual adjustable trim tabs, and a larger propeller strut, fine-tuning your boat has never been easier.
SSL Battery Tray
The easy-to-use SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) system lets you mount your batteries in a tray outside the boat, instead of working in a confined space. Then just slide the tray into the hull, where it locks into place. Battery installation takes only seconds, getting you back on the water faster.
Replaceable Bow Cone
The bow can now be replaced if it gets damaged. No more having to swap out the entire hull. Four screws attach the nose piece to the hull and can be easily replaced if needed. This industry-leading feature makes accidents easier to handle, saving you time and money.
Breakaway Rudder Protection
One of the quickest ways to end an afternoon of RC boating fun is to accidentally strike something hidden in the water with your vessel's rudder. The Sonicwake V3 eliminates this worry with its breakaway rudder design. The rudder simply rotates up if it hits a solid object, minimizing the chance of hull or hardware damage.
SLT Radio System
The SLT3 comes with the all-new Dual Protocol receiver. This system allows you to upgrade to the Spektrum radio of your choice without having to buy a separate receiver.
Dual Water Intake
Keeping your electronics cool is a priority, and we have increased the water flow by adding a dual water rudder pickup. This increased water flow ensures cool, clean water is sent to both the ESC and the motor, keeping your temperatures in check.
Waterproof Receiver Box
The exposed metal pins of an RC boat’s receiver make it especially vulnerable to damage if water enters the hull. The Sonicwake 36” V3 includes an improved waterproof receiver box that keeps your receiver safe and secure. The receiver stays dry through multiple seasons for a reliable radio connection.
Sealed Canopy
The lightweight canopy features locking thumb screws, making it easy to put on and remove for hull access. The textured thumb screws lock with a quarter turn. An improved rubber gasket around the canopy opening prevents water from flooding the hull when the boat is upside down.
Stuffing Tube Grease Catch
Nothing is worse than having too little grease on the flexshaft, but too often, any excess grease ends up making a mess inside your boat’s hull. The Sonicwake V3 features a magnetic grease catch that confines excess grease to a small area for easy removal. You can easily keep the inside of your boat looking clean and fresh.
Free-Floating Prop Strut Bushing
This completely free-floating bushing lets you grease only the prop strut with a quick, easy port. Simply remove the screw. Grease flows through the prop strut and stuffing tube, while holes in the bushing keep the grease right where it needs to be.
