The ARRMA VORTEKS 2WD is the most affordable hobby-quality 1/10 scale stadium truck available. And it's easy to upgrade with LiPo batteries and brushless motors whenever you're ready to take it to the next level.
The VORTEKS delivers more refined performance than any previous ARRMA 2WD vehicle, with the perfect combination of stability and agility. Its wide stance contributes to confidence-boosting control at any speed while racing in your backyard or at your local park. New drivers can take advantage of the easy handling to learn lines and precision driving techniques. Low and sporty, the VORTEKS 2WD lets you carve through the turns without slowing down. The specialized tread design of the all-new dBoots Dirtrunner ST front tires makes it easy to jump and corner on rough surfaces.
If you're brand new to RC, the included Spektrum SLT2 2-channel radio helps you safely learn control skills by limiting maximum speed to 50% or 75% until you're ready to unleash it all. Blast through wet conditions without worry — the Spektrum 2-in-1 40A ESC/receiver unit and high-torque Spektrum S660 steering servo are both waterproof (see the VORTEKS instruction manual for details).
Proven ARRMA engineering gives the composite chassis the durability for bashing over punishing surfaces. The independent suspension, oil-filled shocks, and adjustable ride height combine to provide a smooth ride over uneven terrain. For unstoppable traction, the stadium truck's metal gear differential moves power from the installed MEGA 550 motor to the all-terrain rear tires.
As you gain experience with your VORTEKS 2WD, you can also stretch its performance envelope by customizing it with option parts that are already available. STRONG SPINE COMPOSITE CHASSIS
The durability of its composite chassis lets you send your VORTEKS over punishing terrain with confidence. The simple spine design won't collect dirt, rocks, and mud. It stays clean and lightweight, which means more power!
ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION
The independent suspension and oil-filled, coilover shocks soak up bumps. If your bashing takes you over uneven surfaces, you can adjust the ride height to increase ground clearance.
SPEKTRUM ELECTRONICS INCLUDED
The Spektrum S660 digital steering servo provides high torque (84 oz-inch @ 6V) for precise steering. As you learn more and gain experience, you can push the limits of your VORTEKS by using brushless power and LiPo batteries — the Spektrum 2-in-1 40A ESC and receiver are naturally LiPo-ready because its power is regulated by the ESC.
STADIUM TRUCK BODY
Adding to its exciting realism, the VORTEKS stadium truck body is securely held in place by a hidden body retention system. The body doesn't need to come off to change the battery, but is easy to remove if you need to access the on-board electronics.
SPEKTRUM 2.4GHz SLT2 2-CHANNEL TRANSMITTER
If you're new to RC, the Spektrum SLT2 2-channel radio helps you learn control skills safely by limiting maximum speed to 50% or 75% until you're ready to unleash it all. BATTERY & CHARGER INCLUDED
Get bashing quickly with short 2-3 hour charge times — keep bashing longer with extended run times. When it's time to upgrade for more bashing power, the charger and Spektrum 2-in-1 40A ESC/receiver unit are already compatible with 2S Smart LiPo batteries.
