Originally conceived in the 1960s for counterinsurgency (COIN) operations, the North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco was designed to be a versatile military aircraft that saw action as a light attack and reconnaissance platform. During the final years of the Vietnam War and in Operation Desert Storm, the Bronco excelled in anti-guerrilla operations, air support, and utility missions, and many are still in service today. The E-flite® Micro OV-10 is a replica of this unique twin-engine aircraft, scaled to be affordable and practical for more RC pilots to own and fly! It’s compatible with popular 3S 600–850mAh batteries and is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and optional SAFE® Select technologies, making it the easiest-to-fly OV-10 model yet. Optional fixed landing gear with a steerable nose wheel makes it easy to taxi, take off from, and land on smooth surfaces, or you can leave the landing gear off for more speed and performance when flying over grass. Best of all, it arrives fully factory-finished and ready to fly right out of the box, offering an authentic Bronco flying experience you can’t get anywhere else!
The OV-10 Bronco is one of the most unique and recognizable twin-turboprop military aircraft of all time. Larger OV-10 models, including the popular Hangar 9 20cc and 30cc versions, may be out of reach for many RC pilots—but the E-flite® Micro OV-10 Bronco is sized to be affordable and practical for most! It arrives fully assembled and ready to fly right out of the box, including a factory-installed control unit featuring a Spektrum receiver equipped with exclusive AS3X® and optional SAFE® Select technologies. It’s ready to bind to your 5+ channel DSMX®/DSM2®-equipped transmitter, and you’ll receive real-time telemetry data—including overall battery voltage, current, and more—with both Smart and non-Smart batteries when using compatible Spektrum radios featuring AirWare software. The twin brushless outrunner motors, paired with counter-rotating propellers, are compatible with 3S 600–850mAh batteries, delivering an excellent balance of performance and flight time. The fully molded EPS airframe features more molded-in and other scale details than most smaller UMX/ultra-micro class models, including optional guns, missiles, a drop tank, and a pitot tube. It’s also equipped with plastic-reinforced nacelle and sponson bottoms, plus composite reinforcements in the nose, booms, and throughout the airframe to ensure strength and rigidity while maintaining a lightweight design. The expertly engineered design makes it easy to fly in scale or sport mode, and to perform aerobatics including loops, rolls, and inverted flight. The fixed landing gear, combined with a steerable nose wheel, allows you to taxi, take off from, and land on smooth surfaces. Alternatively, fly without the landing gear installed for increased speed and vertical performance, while using the automatic Hand Launch Assist Mode for easy hand launches and landings on grass.

Skill Level 3 aircraft, such as this one, are suitable for RC pilots who already have experience with “Next Step” and higher-level aircraft, as well as the skills to assemble, set up, and fly models in this class. And although this is the easiest-to-fly OV-10 Bronco model to date, it is not a suitable first-ever RC aircraft for new pilots. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly models such as the E-flite UMX Timbers, UMX Twin Otter, Micro DRACO, Micro Scrappy, or larger and twin-engine models before attempting to fly the Micro OV-10 Bronco.
Already own a Spektrum transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make getting into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible easier than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos, and a Spektrum 2.4 GHz receiver already installed, so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, complete any final assembly, and fly!
This is the first OV-10 Bronco model equipped with exclusive Spektrum AS3X and SAFE Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence, delivering a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you’re flying a much larger airplane. The optional SAFE Select feature provides pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling, which can be turned on or off with the flip of a switch, making this OV-10 easier to fly. SAFE Select also features an automatic Hand Launch Assist mode that senses the force of a hand launch and increases elevator input so the airplane climbs at a steeper angle for a few seconds, making it easier to launch.
The Micro OV-10 Bronco is equipped with a control unit—including a receiver and ESCs—that provides a variety of real-time power system-related telemetry data, such as overall battery voltage, current draw, and more—when using Smart and non-Smart batteries—to compatible Spektrum AirWare-equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6 to 20, the iX12 to 20, and others) while you fly.
The factory-installed twin brushless power system features powerful 3S-compatible outrunner motors equipped with counter-rotating propellers. This power system setup delivers excellent speed and vertical performance, as well as flight times, when using the recommended 600–850mAh 30+C LiPo batteries with an IC2 connector.
You can use the included fixed landing gear—with a steerable nose wheel—to taxi, take off from, and land on smooth surfaces. Or fly without the landing gear installed for more speed and vertical performance while utilizing the automatic Hand Launch Assist Mode for easy hand launches and landings on grass.
The EPS airframe features more molded-in and other scale details than smaller UMX/ultra-micro class models, along with plastic-reinforced nacelle and sponson bottoms, plus composite reinforcements in the nose, booms, and throughout to make it strong and stiff yet also lightweight. The result is an outstanding scale appearance that’s easy to maintain and delivers the best possible flying experience.
The Micro OV-10 Bronco arrives 100% factory-assembled and ready to fly right out of the box! It’s equipped with industry-leading Spektrum 2.4 GHz technology that pairs with your 5+ channel DSMX/DSM2-equipped transmitter, so you can be flying within minutes of opening the box.
The factory-applied, fully painted finish with decals not only looks great but also replicates a unique Philippine Air Force (PAF) color scheme. Plus, the factory-installed LED navigation lights enhance the scale experience while improving visibility and orientation in low-light conditions.
